Your Pot of Gold: Take a Look at Your Accomplishments
Spring is the time for renewal, growth and progress. This is a perfect time to take a few minutes and make a list of your workout and exercise accomplishments these past few months, women. At times it is difficult to recognize the progress you’ve made because you are too busy focusing on the process. Your accomplishments as women don’t necessarily have to do with the scale going down or the amount of time you exercise. They should include attitude and psychological adjustments, as well as other changes that directly or indirectly affect health and fitness goals in women.
“Creating a list lets you validate and celebrate your accomplishments — big and small. A list definitely contributes to your self-esteem and feeling good about yourself. It gives you a sense of optimism, challenges you to try new experiences and gives you the motivation to move forward,” said Monica Joseph, LMCH, LCTC, of Hallandale Beach, FL.
Do yourself a favor and take some “me time” to write down the women’s fitness accomplishments you’ve made since Jan. 1. Take a look at the list below to help you get started.
