You’ve dedicated these past months to living a healthy lifestyle, complete with exercise and nutrition for women. You know your habits are changing and you see the physical changes when you look in the mirror. Now is a great time to acknowledge those changes and recognize those that still need work. Stop and think about where you are and where you’re headed in terms of women’s fitness. Doing so gives you self-satisfaction and the motivation to move forward and stay on track with your weight loss goals. Consider these exercise and nutrition actions/behaviors for women and how you can accomplish or improve on them:
- Write down what you have accomplished and what you want to accomplish; set specific fitness goals and the steps you will take to reach those weight loss goals
- You recognize your triggers
- You consistently create an environment that allows for success
- Acknowledge your physical accomplishments, including weight loss and inches lost, etc.
- Acknowledge your mental accomplishments, like being able to say “no thank you,” weighing/measuring foods, cooking nutritious versions of your favorite foods, ordering healthier foods when out, accepting compliments
- Exercise and nutrition are now a priority
- You create accountability for your actions
- You accept and learn from your actions
- Recognize the payoff when you exhibit bad behavior and find positive ways to meet it
